5 week "improvers" sewing class - Thursday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm, starting on 30/4/26

This class is perfect for those who have already completed my beginners' sewing class, or who have some familiarity with a sewing machine, but would like to learn more techniques and gain confidence in their sewing. In the first class, I will have a variety of garment sewing patterns you can choose from, which will then be the basis of the next five weeks. You will measure yourself, adjust a pattern to fit you, cut and sew your garment, whilst learning the techniques you need along the way. We will also look at some basic sewing machine maintenance, so you can be sure to keep your machine in good working order. 

You'll also get a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit to keep you well fueled!

Participants must bring their own sewing machines (or contact me after booking if you need to arrange machine hire), and please bring your machine manual, plus any bobbins and accessories which came with your machine too. The cost of the improvers' class does not include materials; you can purchase these (plus your chosen pattern) after the first class, once you have decided which pattern you would like to make.
